The University of Alabama’s Journal of the Legal Profession is currently accepting submissions for the Spring 2022 issue of Volume 46. The Journal welcomes all submissions related to legal ethics and professional responsibility. However, preference may be given to topics such as criminal justice, election law, mental health, criminal and civil procedure, technology, and legal education. As the nation’s first publication exploring legal ethics confronting attorneys, The Journal strives to publish cutting edge articles on ethical issues and interdisciplinary scholarship authored by legal scholars, faculty, attorneys from diverse practice areas, judges, and social scientists.
All manuscripts should be typewritten in Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF and double-spaced. The Journal of the Legal Profession requires conformity with The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citations (21st ed. 2020). Submissions are encouraged via Scholastica or by email to jolp@law.ua.edu.
