Symposium: “American Law at the Border,” presented by the San Diego Law Review
April, 2024
The San Diego Law Review is pleased to announce the 2024 symposium: “American Law at the Border.” Located in one of the busiest border cities in the world, the San Diego Law Review is uniquely positioned to curate scholarship and host an event that explores issues of domestic law at the border. The symposium will feature scholarship and discussion on the impact of migration and cross-border realities as they manifest in immigration law, healthcare and health law, criminal law, economics, administrative law, and policymaking.
We are seeking scholars including professors, judges, practitioners, and students to submit their work for publication in the San Diego Law Review’s Volume 61 Symposium Issue and for presentation at a symposium event in April 2024. Authors may submit two types of submissions: (1) proposals for papers; or (2) completed manuscripts.
San Diego Law Review will consider proposals for and completed manuscripts of varying lengths and formats. Previous symposia have published speeches, debates, essays, and articles. Ultimately, the San Diego Law Review is seeking meaningful contributions to the body of legal scholarship, which may arise in various forms.
